Grundy and others should know whey they have won the contest and make an effort to lessen the impact by slowing the driving movement etc and if they dont and continue to drive the player down they are liable.

I dont disagree with you, but accidents happen when you tackle and fall into someone. Not having their arms pinned at least gives them a chance to brace for impact.

To be fair suspending players on the basis of injury rather than malice is always going to cause this confusion
