Liked: Tom Stewart truly announced himself as a talent, played with good finals intensity. Hope he gets up for the prelim.
Learned: GWS are back to being a real chance for the flag
Hated: No close games, ultimately a pretty poor finals spectacle apart from the WCE v Port game. + GWS v WCE crowd... felt like a suburban H&A game.

Learnt: if crowd numbers are anything to go by the Giants are only marginally more interesting to the public than women's soccer. Ha!

What are you talking about? According to the crowds, Women's soccer is MORE interesting than the Giants.

Learnt: Buddy needs to re-evaluate how he approaches finals on the MCG

Hated: the day where GWS fail miserably to pull a crowd, the NRL surprise even the NRL bosses and pull 41k over the footpath
And the manner in which we lost. Just painful. I'm not upset we are out, just in the way we bowed out.

Learnt: Swans have some major problems to address

Learnt: West Coast out of the 8 in 18 unless something drastically changes. Don't have the midfield. Especially not with Priddis and Mitchell out.

Swans just had a bad night but seem to be getting beaten in big finals of late by a game plan. Left to their own devices they have been the best side in it but seem to get too easily worked out on bigger grounds.

Liked: Good prelim match ups as a result of the form. Something new for the GF.

Hated: Hard to read GWS as West Coast threw it in early in the 2nd.

Hated: The crowd in Sydney. Wake up people.

Liked: GWS win. Respect from both sides sending off Mitchell, Priddis and Petrie. Was a nice touch.

Geelong. Huge respect for the way they dismantled Sydney and credit where it's due, they were amazing and deserve all the praise they're getting.

Hated: West Coast not putting up a fight. Didn't think they would win, but it was obvious from the first minutes of the first quarter they would be blown away and it was disappointing the game wasn't closer.

Sydney. Are they the new Colliwobbles? Maybe haven't lost enough grand finals for that tag but gee they get talked up when in reality they've done sweet F A since 2012. For a team paying s hitloads for Franklin and Tippet, it's fair to say Tippet hasn't worked out and Buddy has been pretty woeful in recent finals bar one or two.

Learnt: GWS are right in the mix if they can win two games in Melbourne.

Hated: Sydney saving our worst performance in 20 years for a semi final.

Hated: The AFL refuses to move Geelong v Adelaide from AO to the MCG despite the fact that 30k will miss out on going to the game now.

I discovered a long time ago that sarcasm relies on tone and body language, which are absent from bigfooty - in short of knowing someone's posting history it's pretty hard to detect sarcasm with text only communication

You can't claim sarcasm when called out for bullshit when you go saying 30k would miss out on the assumption of an 80k crowd if it were a Geelong night final at the MCG. You could say that if it was Adelaide vs Richmond final or any other drawing Victorian team as host.
