What has actually happened here? Makes no sense to the logical brain.
It does.

Richmond out worked sides for the most part, week after week. They're getting out worked, our pressured, out hustled. They didn't come into the game with an attitude like they did last year, they've been jumped. That's all it takes. They're arrogant.

Now, need to go dig out all my posts that were responded to by jerk / arrogant Richmond tossers.

A prelim loss is a failure regardless - doesn't matter if you're Chris Scott with Dangerfield/Selwood/Motlop. Or Richmond aiming to win back to back premierships.
Well as reigning premiers we were the only team who could have a crack at that weren’t we. But history shows not every team can go back to back can they.

It’s done really, the amount of sides coming back from something like this are very very rare.

Last thing comparable was Essendon v Adelaide in the 93 prelim in terms of comebacks.

Pies have been magnificent, Tigers game has fallen apart against a hungrier team
