Richmond will come HARD in the 3rd. Pies will win if they can weather it and keep the margin above 30
No Chance. Both our games against Richmond this year we had 3 players get injured in each game. Richmond ran out the game vs a 1 man bench twice against us. They don't have that luxury right now. And all the Richmond supporters saying that the Pies injuries meant nothing... well now we can see who the better team is when we have full teams on the park hey boys!

We lost this in the mindset

Had no composure right from the start of the game
It’s the break. You started rusty and with bad touch, lost your confidence and the enormous pressure of a prelim just avalanched things. The AFL need to **** the break off, it’s so bloody obvious

Six decades of domination
It is 14 scoring shots to 10.

For me Richmond have to tidy up the accuracy and delivery into the 50 AND get 2 to 3 more goals in the third quarter. Otherwise game over and well deserved to the pies.
Richmond have all had their shots under pressure. Lot of scrappy snaps/rushed behinds. I think they've only had 3 or 4 set shots.

Collingwood have pretty much all been set shots.

Magpies defensive pressure has been top tier.

I gave the Pies no chance whatsoever in this game. What a performance I am speechless.

To think Buckley was on the brink early last year. The media were waiting to deathride him this season and look where Collingwood is now. Similar to Hardwick the year before. Thompson in 2006. I think there's a lesson there for all footy clubs.
same. thoroughly shocked by this, that was near-flawless footy from the Pies. probably the best standard of footy ive seen all year.

Good post. The pies supporters looking to sack cox and Buckley should be ashamed. They are not home yet, but even based on what has transpired to half time they have done well against an exceptional opponent.

So...late knocking off work tonight...

Everything going to plan?

This will either be a massive upset or one of the greatest Prelim capitulations of all time.

This is pretty funny I must admit.

Richmond have nothing when their pressure and intercept marking fails. Collingwood is dealing with their pressure beautifully. Also spanking them in the middle.

Anyone who thinks you don’t need a good ruckmen should watch a game like this. Nankervis been a disgrace.
