That is why i like him prowling the 50 m line as his long kicking is better than his spot ups ... takes the error damage out of his game .

Nah. Just not a very good team out on the field. In their defense, they do seem to have a lot of inexperienced players. I'd say it's more of a fact these young guys like Butters, Rozee, Dursma getting tired as the season goes on. They are also missing Dixon, Rockliff, Ebert, Broadbent and Watts... all important players structurally for them.
