Although it could be something like the Cats v Hawks clashes in years past. Cats win the regular season, Hawks win the finals.

Essendon are complete garbage. Barely scraped past a team playing unfootballers like Corey Ellis, Jacob Herron and Jacob Dawson.

Parallels with Richmond 2014 shaping up big time. Strong run home with an easy draw, only to receive a rude awakening come finals.

Essendon play crap on Sunday afternoons. It's a known known. A fact. They got over a crappy game where they lost a couple goals and had double the free's against them.

If form is the definition of 'most recent' then sure, they are irresistible. 8 wins and 2 losses in the last 10. And 5 wins in a row to boot. Geelong are 7 and 3 with only 1 win in a row, but cheer up.... they will go ok in the finals mate.

How can the umpire not pay that a goal was in perfect position even more damming that he didn't call for a review.

The umpire should be sacked on Monday and Essendon awarded the goal and amend the final margin from 10 points to 16 points . An apology from the AFL wont cut it.

I'm not sure he should be sacked but with percentage probably going to be important later on, I agree with you that the score should be amended.
