Let's not be fooled by the disposal, mark and goal numbers of Eddie Betts, Taylor Walker, Tom Lynch and Bryce Gibbs; Adelaide's "stars" did not play great games, and they are not "back in town" as a unit.

Adelaide's best - David Mackay (has now played his one great game for the year), Matt Crouch (wasn't out of form), Cameron Ellis-Yolmen (will they learn to play him in the guts full-time, as he's best suited to?), Brodie Smith (wasn't out of form), Rory Atkins (champion downhill skier, who wasn't really out of form)

Paper over the cracks, with a lot of over-possessing (454 disposals, for just 18 goals, on a perfect evening for footy) and wank.
