Free kicks 14-17 and Dons were robbed? Lol. Never change Main Board.

If Essendon players kept their feet when it mattered they might have had the 4 points.
Another one who lacks the understanding that a free kick count means nothing without context.

It was about the fees that werent paid to the Bombers in critical, game defining moments.

When the players from both sides stop on multiple occasions for free kicks and not paid you know something is broke with the umpiring. HTB cut from the rule book randomly.

I dont agree with essendon supporters booing through the medal ceremony though, and big respect for bucks calling it out.

I agree will everything you say.

Buckley is a class act.

Please, having one arm pinned has been deemed as having prior opportunity for years. If you have an arm pinned, you still have an opportunity to get a kick away.
Bull. If you grab the ball and instantly get one arm pinned, you aren't required to get rid of it correctly, you had no prior to be tackled.
Bigfooty worries me sometimes

Stringer had an incredibly obvious HTB that wasn’t called in the fourth quarter. The umpires just stopped calling it, I don’t think it was favouritism one way or another.
Agree that was an absymal call, I said the umpiring was amateur not that there was favouritism. The fact that they stopped calling it when it was so blatantly obvious wasn't good enough.

The slow start obviously cost us in the end.

Pendlebury is one of my favourite players, but he did throw himself to the ground for a free kick. Lost a bit of respect for him when he did that. The booing would be a combination of that and frustration from getting absolutely raped by the umpires. It is what it is

they were protests about the umpiring, nothing personal against Pendles. Buckley was an idiot to suggest so much
The bloke was trying to give an acceptance speech. Time and place...that wasn't it.

Yet if you read my initial post, I gave a clear example where a player was twice in one game pinged despite not having prior. This is why people have the shits. Fro game to game, the decisions are completely different. The league is ******.
Why would I care about other games that were incorrectly officiated?

Why did the Bombers on 3 occasions late on in the game try to play on with hand ball? They ****** it up every time. Had they shown more composure and poise under pressure they would have taken the four points. That being said, the umpiring was ******* atrocious. The game - bloody marvellous. The Dons with their 3 straight goals to end the first half made it a cracking and intriguing affair after it looked like it was going to be a blow out bore fest. The 2nd half was a pearler and one to remember, much like the historic first one in 95 and one's after that in 2009 where Zaharakis nailed the winner and the 1 point win to the Pies in 2012.

Dons you played good and have a 1993 Baby Bombers feel about you. I've picked the Pies from day dot for this years Prem and will continue to do so. But I have Essendon along with the Cats as teams who could play alongside them in the GF, and possibly beat them.

Dons could roll us next week. Good game by both today.
