Exactly, and I said the same thing about the blues for the first few games this year. Melbourne all need to take a hard look at themselves. Weideman wanting a large contract points out to me that there are some big egos there. Gotta crush them.
North on Friday night :)

Probably the wrong time to mention it because that one was there, but Richmond do seem to get away with a lot of stuff that other teams get pinged for
There are some things like high fend offs that we may get away with more than oppositions, but there are other things like HTB that we get pinged easily for, but have a hard time getting back.

I am not sure what I just watched...

Melbourne did well in the first quarter, but then seemed to go into some ultra defensive game plan, and had nobody available to score. That was one of the most bizarre games I have ever seen in terms of tactics. Melbourne just faded into nothing....almost like they couldn't be bothered anymore.

Please stop comparing Football to War....
It's the thing that annoys me immensely over the Anzac Day period, and like you I wish it would cease. To compare a footy match to the atrocities of war and loss of life is just disrespectful in my book.

How goods this Baker fella, been in amongst it hard in the second half.

Knew Stack would get into early, one of the absolute guns of the WAFL colts
Not knowing the specifics of his off-field issues, incredible to believe he didn't get drafted originally?

Absolute back 6 lock already in a side that went 37-13 in it's previous 50 games before he made his debut. Has everything you want in a defender - good skills, good decision making, doesn't take a backwards step, tough, able to read the play.

The Anzac the AFL presents is the glitzy version. It’s like when Breast Cancer foundations have everything pink and bright. Ignores the actual reality.
