Doggies by a goal or less and me to punch my mate in the face, (he’s a soccer fan). 1.40 odds.

There has been a lot, excessive, hype abt the Doggies. It is clearly premature, they are talented and soft. Not what the club has traditionally been known for. Their coach is a genius imo, but he doesn't serve the boys well by indulging their foibles.

The Saints' grit and hard-at-itness will pose problems for a team that embarrassed itself in round 1 with its entitled attitude after reading its own press over the summer.

Wood out is a big loss. The Saints can stretch them forward and in perfect conditions at Marvel that might be telling. Hunter out as well, negates the Dogs greatest advantage of the Saints a little as well, as their midfield is a class above at full strength.

Hard to pick, would have learnt towards the Dogs but those 2 out have me rethinking.

Dogs a very one dimensional football team.
Similar to the Freo Dockers of Ross Lyon years. Only difference they are full of young players but they have to start getting in some players who aren't all contested ball magnets
