Reflection on the loss St kilda needs 3 things to become contenders
1. A strong system where players can understand what they are doing, time will take care of that
2. Stars in the middle, Clark showed that he can be the man there, Steele is getting better and Gresham can provide a spark, but there needs to be some AA quality mids there. The Eagles had players out but Kelly, Nic Nat and Gaff are still guns and they made the difference over plodders like Ross and players with iffy disposal like Jones (who has had a good seasons)
3. Better inside 50 entries, King is 20 years old does lack the muscle mass to wrestle, so why bomb it on his head again and again

Both West Coast and the Western Bulldogs are two of the biggest umpires pets going around backed up by the stats, +112 free kicks in 2016 to carry you to a flag.

Why dont you make a thread about this on the umpires board Plug? 2016 and the Dogs have nothing to do with this thread.
It was a good game and overall well umpired compared to most this year, it’s never gonna be perfect and please everyone. Both teams blew some chances and the Eag’s managed to dig deep in the end and pull off the win. Simple.

Barass was brillaint last night. 3rd term came up huge with 3, McGovern type marks in defence. Big Contrast to last season's 2nd last game of the home & away v the Tigers.

Mate, use your eyes - arms around Allen's waist.

Was it soft, sure. I mean it wasn't the infringment Darling copped moments earlier that was missed, but it was there.

Just stop at was it soft.

Cant pay them and ignore Kings 30 seconds later.

Soft frees are still frees darlin' - whinging about some frees being more worthy than others is just embarrassing.

Didn't see any king incident, wasn't as obvious as the Darling one? But what does that tell us? It goes both ways, umps miss loads, get over it and move on.

It must be a WC thing. Need a goal get a horrendous free in the goal square. Next contest blatant free to opponents in there forward end play on

On a related note, what the hell happened when Kelly took the ball out of the ruck in St Kilda's F50 in the last quarter?

I thought that was outlawed about 5 years ago wasn't it?

Even Kelly looked momentarily bemused that he didn't get pinged for it! Bizarre.

This whole season has been bad for commentators, They never shut the fu** up, use stupid sayings, constantly barrage the viewer with inane crap.

Channel 7 is genuinely insulting the viewer with their coverage.
I muted the tv so my wife could read in peace, so much better, so much!!
