Every time we face off since 2016, the home team has won. Will be interesting to see how it goes in Cairns

Dockers in an upset.

How much of an upset would it be?

The teams currently sit on percentages of 103 and 97 after 16 games. Freo have won seven of their last twelve, including their last two - even when nothing to play for. They have trained and played at Cazalys - the Doggies haven't.

Not saying it wouldn't shock the AFL media and upset the Doggies' fans if Freo knocked the Doggies out of finals, but it wouldn't be an upset from a statistical or form perspective. I daresay if this was Round 17 of a 22 game season then the bookies would have them neck and neck.

I'm pretty conflicted because I'd love the Doggies to go deep into finals.

This weird and unique season has the 2016 season similarities in many ways including anyone in the 8 could win with a decent finals run.

Last round in 2016 season, we comfortably beat the Dogs. A game later the Dogs faced the Eagles in Perth and blew them away in the EF.

I'm backing my boys to get the 4 points in a close one but it wont matter for the dogs as I can't see the Giants winning & Melbourne will choke as they always do.

Dogs will then finish 8th & once again travel to Perth to face the Eagles in an EF a game later. COuld be interesting times ahead.

Apologies for the useless post by the way, I'm bored!

We haven't played at Cazaly's this year, but have a very good history there.

In saying that, I don' think a Freo win would be a huge upset. I considered the Hawks game an easy win, and this one a danger game.

Dogs too much too play for. They were in this position last game last year and did the job with precision. They are not GWS. Dogs will win.
