Free kick every day of the week Dwayne. The rule is clear - once the ball is out of bounds you must drop it or give it back to the ump, NOTHING about force of the throw, if you throw it at another player it's a free.

Then it should have been a free to Hardwick if we are playing semantics.
Ball was dead and he was tackled

Gc should be wearing white.
Its an orange fest out there

I don't know why there isn't more done to prevent these obvious clashes. Just agree on a combination between teams that doesn't clash (each team has 2-3 versions of their uniform anyway), and forget who the home and away clubs are.

Technically a free kick but a 'calm down' warning would've sufficed.

Why should it? Why do fans beg for "consistency" in umpiring then as soon as an objective free kick is paid, want the umpire to interpret the rule book in a different manner?

We want 30 umpires to rule the same way in multiple games no matter the conditions or level, but now with this rule we want them to start ruling based on their interpretation of force?

How about the umpire pays what's in the rule book and not what "should suffice"?

Then it should have been a free to Hardwick if we are playing semantics.

We are not "playing semantics", we are talking about objective rules.

The tackle being on the line isn't as objective, and I'll agree that the rules around holding are poorly written, but it's pretty clearly not a "in the rule book" free.

Has any other player regressed quite so badly in history as Jack Lukosius has this past 4 weeks ?
Taylor Walker, Josh Jenkins, about half the crows team. He’s a young kid and is a natural forward and would dominate if they played him at that end. Looks like he is in line with the rest of the good coast at this end of the season and fallen off the cliff

Good on stratton but that was weird how none of the gc players tackled him, just got out of his way so he could kick it
