You might regret saying that. We lost to Carlton this time last week - enough said. It’s a year where form will fluctuate crazily from week to week.

Looking forward to seeing the Dogs away from Marvel in coming weeks.

If it was down here you would smash us by 10 goals, Gold Coast factor is a bit of an unknown but with the way we have butchered the ball you may as well rock up with half your team.

Fair dinkum our blokes aren’t even competing now.

I'm not sold on Shaw as a coach.
They looked good when he came on but its looking like they are right bang on where they've always been hovering just around the middle of the ladder. Good on their day, can pull out a big game or upset with their backs against the wall, but just not good enough to string wins together regularly.

As a North fan, I'm asking nicely, please take us off FTA for the next two weeks, let us cash those coupons another time.

Maybe when Larkey comes back, Cunnington's body is healed (and no longer like a 70yo man), and Jed Anderson has been rightly omitted.

We are ****ed right now.

They look so predictable. The bulldogs turnaround is quite remarkable as well though, people weren’t sold on Bevo and his selections a few weeks ago

Selection issues are the key thing here. Gardner isn’t an AFL footballer, and neither is Gowers tbh.

Grundy towelled up English rd one and that’ll happen again with better rucks, but rd 2 was all about shitty team selection (and st kilda played well too obviously).

Bevo and Match Committee got out of their own way the last three weeks, picked the best players in broadly their best positions and it looks like three wins on the bounce. Who’d have thought?

Do you mean like literally last week when we beat Sydney?

You mean like last week? We won that one.

It was a good win, yep, but you can’t deny the Dogs have played their best football at Marvel for a number of seasons now. Much like my own club at the venue.

Taking ‘home’ games away from Marvel will be a test for a number of clubs who play there so often.
