We have struggled recently when expectations elevate. Hoping to correct that this week as the FIFO Power feel the heat we are going to bring. Will be a good contest that we, hopefully, prevail.

Especially when we've had to back it up the following week. Feel like if we bring our best footy we're a chance.

Looking forward to watching two teams play good attacking football.

Then I can watch some dreck from Hawthorn and Melbourne.

We have spent so long being in the latter category that it seems weird to see us in the former.

Port is a premiership contender and Carlton isn't. Nothing to be offended about.

Port have Lycett and Ebert not playing those are large outs for them.

Also, I was reading, that Pittonet came out on top when he played against Ladhams last time. And Carlton do have a good midfield (even in their Melbourne-esque years) so if they get first use they can do very well.

I am not brave enough to tip Carlton but I think it will be a lot closer than what your comment suggests.

This whole week has been nothing but a media love inn for Carlton and how they are "on the way back to being a powerhouse", despite the fact they still aren't very good.

I need Port to crush them so my timeline is back being filled with the existential think pieces about "what went wrong for the blues".

Come on Port, a 10 goal win today please

Back to canned noise for this game.

What a disgraceful lack of crowd considering the QLD premier keeps reminding Victorians that Queensland can host crowds.

Port will win this game with a leg in the air.
