The cliff is on its way for the Tiges too. So many of their key players 28 - 33 years old.
Houli
Edwards
Cotchin
Martin
Riewoldt
Astbury
Lambert
Grimes

They love talking about some of their young players but they are nothing if you compare their younger talent to some of the other sides in the comp.
Our key players are 21 - 27:
Taranto
Whitfield
Kelly
Cameron
Coniglio
Greene
Hopper
Daniels
Himmelberg

We are just getting started.

You still haven’t won anything yet

Yet we were missing 4 of those and still had the game on our terms for the majority against all of yours?

Getting started to what though? Repeatedly underachieving and getting beaten in finals? Cameron doesn't know what the * he's doing even with dozens of first round talents over the years he can't get them to achieve anything of note. The Giants are spoken about every year as supremely talented, then like clockwork fail when it matters in finals.

We won most of the stats and were in front for the majority of the game.

Giants and Tigers were missing around the same starters, maybe 1 more tiger.

What about the quality (not quantity) of those players?

Territory
F50 entries
Scoring shots

We had our chances & blew it

They are starters for our club. They are important to us.
Oh the old “if” we took our chances in the fwd 50.

Well “if” we took the chances that winning the clearances, tackles etc and got the ball moving fwd we would of won by more.

If we are using the “if” belief.

We butchered so many chances last night, feel like we threw away 4 points. Deflating when you're missing so many gettable shots and the opposition are nailing tougher shots. Second qtr killed us, absolutely dominated them for no reward - bad kicking is bad football. But very proud of the effort, execution however was subpar. Good to see Dusty getting back into some form and some of the lesser lights playing well. We need to get a lot better going inside 50, been a problem all season.

Richmond were missing 3 AAs - Cotchin, Houli, Edwards - and their 2019 bnf in Prestia lol

I was at the game - Richmond dominated time in fwd half and I50. However GWS looked far more dangerous going fwd, although that was largely due to Greene. Richmond looked absolutely impotent going fwd bombing to stationary targets. Richmond need to evolve a bit tactically but L Cameron actually did a good job in that regard last night imo.

Reread what I said

We dominated the stats that mattered but blew our chances

Let's see how you go the next three weeks - Doggies, Brisbane, Port.

You now start playing some teams in the top 8...
Fadge a year ago you said we were no good, no depth, we were finished etc. that was just before we won 12 in a row steamrolling every team in the 8 along the way to another flag. It’s ok as I’m sure you are good at other things but footy knowledge ain’t one of them unfortunately.

Most of those 12 were at the MCG though

Small issue this season
