They scrambled a win in the wet against an injury riddled side who lost their best player before half time.

Scrambled a win? We were all over you in the 2nd half, if not for your dead eye kicking and some of our wasted opportunities it would have been a lot bigger margin, we had double the amount of scoring shots, the scoreboard flattered the Eagles if anything.

Essendon have their fair share of injuries also, so don’t be using that excuse.
