Yep just said this on our club board. It's been 10 years. Tasmania denied a side and talent of the comp diluted to hell and for what? At least GWS have made and won finals. GC have been and still are a completely soulless disaster. No good players are going to want to go there and few good players are ever going to want to stay there.

The AFL and Gold Coast's initial admins didn't help mind you. Arrogant and ignorant as hell.

This is a bad result for the Suns, they had no better chance to beat the Dockers today with all their outs and they aren't even close to beating them.

Dew has to be under some pressure now, the Suns should be performing better than this with the talent they have.

I know it's easy to make Dew fat jokes but how can the Suns players take him seriously about working hard when he looks like a lazy fat slob.

He could always flash them his two premiership medals

Suns looked buggered by the final quarter, and their kicking really didn't help them, they kicked themselves out of it a bit. I know how this feels going for Freo.

Occasionally entertaining, always infuriating, the mistakes and
apparent ignorance of the rules, gets you wanting to throw
something at the TV. Last night, the special comms were worse.
After a player managed to get a knuckle or two on a handball,
they were arguing that after taking on the tackler, a player
should make a more convincing handball. Can you imagine
the umpires trying to work that out.
Being a great player doesn’t make you a great commentator.

The club is obviously a disaster, but the players are contributing massively here.

I’d be shocked if Dew was instructing Lukosius to try and intercept mark in the goal square when a rushed behind gives you the ball back anyway with an opportunity to run further out of the square. Rosas dropped a simple uncontested mark 25m out straight in front when the game was still theoretically on the line. King looks like he’s been taking lessons from his brother on how to lack physicality and butcher opportunities in front of goal.

With a few exceptions they’re not kids anymore. They’re supposedly highly talented footballers with a few seasons at least under their belt, who are now supported by some experienced players in all lines. But they pick and choose when to turn up and they make terrible decisions way too often for professional athletes.

I think it’s a shame when kids get drafted there because there’s undoubtedly an issue with the environment. But they can’t keep dishing this up years into their career and not expect to get blamed for it.
