Squiggle tips Saints at 51% chance -- What's your tip? -- Team line-ups »
Pretty blatant holding the man not paid against I think Gawn at the end there
Well both were making a heap of mistakes and seemed reluctant to take the game by the scruff of the neck. Probably a case of both sides going hard at it in fairness.Che? They were both exhausted yet both teams tried really hard to win.
Overtime would be great, another 5-10min of two teams throwing everything at it instead of wandering off with a weird feeling
Need to get rid of draws
Same mistakes from Melbourne. Panicked under pressure and just kept kicking to a out number. Your have the lead it is ok to hang on to the ball.
They won’t be playing any of those sides in finals. They’re undefeated against top 10 teams this year. They’re still top dog.Melbourne aren’t winning the flag this year. Lose to the Giants at the G, Adelaide, Collingwood and a draw with Hawthorn. Will still finish top 4 but out in straight sets
No. It’s not a final. Therefore don’t need an extra time/shootout. Only in finals is it importantThis is going to ramp up the penalty shootouts in AFL chat that started after the Euros isn’t it?
It’s a good point. We have got up for all the top sides. It’s almost like lower teams player play to go against our plan and top sides play their own brand. And don’t change up for the interceptors etc. They won’t be playing any of those sides in finals. They’re undefeated against top 10 teams this year.
Not so much for Hawthorn supportersFrosty makes footy fun.
The bigger problem was not making the most of relatively straight forward chances and Hawthorn made more of fewer chances.
Same thing happened against GWS.
Sort that out and it won’t be close near the end.
As well as Hawks did tonight, lots of what worked for them won’t be sustainable week in and week out.
