Fair bit of rubbish in this thread from both sides.
Anyway, I thought we did well given the circumstances of a 6 day turnaround from a wet Perth game against a team who like to play fast. LDU, Thomas and Larkey all were impressive throughout different stages. Essendon did what they had to do and Stringer was clearly the difference in the end, being able to convert the chances he got.
Very interested to see where both teams will be in 2-3 years.

The elder statesman of that midfield today was Jy Simpkin and he is 3 years younger than Zac Merrett.
In 3 years Thomas, LDU and Simpkin all project to be top 50 players.
That’s without factoring Powell, Phillips, Stephenson and the likely #1 draft pick.
