Metricon at 6.10pm Sunday confirmed.

Essendon's 2nd half saved the win as the 1st half was poor.

Be nice to see a 4 quarter effort for Bombers this week. Do this and it will be a comfortable victory against under-manned Giants side.

Essendon youngster Cian McBride has become the second player at the club forced into isolation in Queensland, with the Irishman having visited an exposure side in Melbourne.
McBride attended the Wallabies vs France rugby match last week, with his section recalssified from a Tier 3 site to Tier 2.
It means McBride will remain in isolation (along with injured teammate Andrew McGrath) until next week, with 14-day quarantine backdated from July 13.

Iggles.
Play like we did in the 1st half and we destroy the Bombers
Play like we did in the 2nd half and we will be flogged.
Basically Essendon mirror this as well, play like they did first half last week, Giants will kill us, play like we did in the 2nd & in with a chance.

Should be a decent contest.

Good story here is Shiel set himself the target of getting himself up for this game, after a long injury lay off.
Good that Essendon have rewarded his hard work, by putting him straight back in the AFL.

Bombers can sew up a finals berth if they win this. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if GWS come out firing. They're still in the finals mix as well if they win.

Manchester United, Juventus,
Essendon are going to get a reality check today I reckon. And with Sydney next week, it could be the one two blow that knocks them out of finals contention.
I think today will be close but Swans are comfortably a better side than us currently. I’d be ecstatic if we could somehow sneak a win in one of them

Essendon are going to get a reality check today I reckon.
How so, we're eighth, most of us don't expect to make finals and even if we do to go out first week. We've looked for nothing but improvement this year, with most outsiders ranking us bottom four. How will losing to a team that will be in the eight if they win be in any way a "reality check"?
