3 votes...Max Gawn. Will be the difference as Melbourne hammer the Dogs again.

Hopefully when players are in the clear they don’t think to switch to the 1v3 again. I mean really, one thing for lever and May to mark it down the line and another to give it back like that sideways on a turnover. That first quarter last time still puzzles me.

I think the space of the MCG will work in the Dogs favour this time whereas last time we could close them down easier, block their exits/switches at Docklands.

Will be a very interesting game from a tactical perspective, no doubt whoever loses will be written off but there's still a long way to go either way.

I'm really excited for this game.

Last time, Melbourne slaughtered us in the 1st quarter, but after that it was a relatively even game (6.9 vs 7.4). Hopefully the boys have learnt from last time not to shank switches and lower the eyes.

Extremely odd selection. Praying Bevo's playing silly buggers
Obviously going tall to try and make Lever and May more accountable and make them think twice about zoning of to intercept kicks inside 50

The fact there is a chance of rain and possibly hail makes this a very interesting move. If it is wet I anticipate a late change

Melbourne older and more experienced, playing at home with their best available 22 playing whereas Dogs are missing 3-5 from their best side.

No excuses, Demons should win this by at least a few goals.

GoGriff does this mean we should have lost more than we've won this year considering we've regularly gone in with the younger side?

Probably. Having the best injury run of all the clubs does help even it out, less reliance on playing older fringe players (you've been able to avoid playing s**t trucks like Jones, Melksham, AVB for most of the year for example).

No excuses for the Dees tonight.
