What a stinker of a Friday night game, two weeks in a row we've had shockers
We've had:
North v Dogs - 128pts
Eagles v Pies - 27pts
GWS v Dogs - 39pts
Tigers v Cats - 63pts
Saints v Cats - total of 15 goals kicked
Even top of the table clash - Dogs v Dees ended up being 28pts and was pretty much over halfway through the 3rd
Swans v Hawks - 38pts
Tigers v Saints - 40pts and a total of 11 goals kicked
Cats v Dons - 41pts
Dons v Crows - 63pts and total of 13 goals kicked
Port v Pies - 28pts

I reckon everyone will survive.

yeah, I don't get it either, plenty of top of table clashes and top 8 clashes have turned out to be crap games.

sure we haven't been playing great in general this year, but we've been removed form plenty of our prime time slots due to covid fixture shuffle, was only right we get something back.

Thinking this game will be important for both teams for various reasons

St Kilda lose to Carlton and you would have to think their 2020 season was an outlier and the 2021 St Kilda is the real St Kilda and would put alot of doubt into the club about their capability.

Carlton is looking like going through another shake out and will take more than a win to stop this

Will at least be interesting from a Carlton perspective now with Charlie playing.
If Harry isn't a late out, it's been mentioned on our page that it will only be the 24th time, out of a possible 124 games, that Charlie and Harry have played together. And only the 15th for those two plus Weitering.
If you add our young ruck in TDK to that core spine and I dare say it's the first time for all four.

Can’t really see how this game determines if our whole season last year was an outlier, we’ve lost to shitter teams than Carlton this year.

Don't be nervous. You'll win by plenty. And by plenty, I mean 15 goals plus!
We're sh*te
No reason why you guys couldn’t win this, especially if Harry plays. You won 3 of your last 4 games when he played prior to last week and all the heat on the club this week ought to ensure a response.

Plus Charlie’s return will be a boost to morale and all that.

I personally think it's a mistake to play Charlie Curnow tonight before giving him a VFL game or two. Would love it if he has a great run towards the end the season to get his confidence up but his injury history should have Teague a bit more nervous. What do Carlton even have to gain at this point in the season?
At least it's given me a reason to watch what would otherwise be quite an average match-up.

Paddy Ryder a late out with achilles soreness. Carlton will be right in this considering how much our ruck presence dictates our performance.

Haven't watched a neutral match for a while but will give this one a go. A shoddy Carlton performance here would probably be the death knell for Teague, but they're sending out a young team and I've got a feeling it might fire.
