A potential cracker. Pies usually go alright backs to wall. Eagles though, have shown great form in patches, they should win after last week's fiasco.

Bit this year my predictions have been abysmal.

Any less than a 50 point loss is a good result for the pies in this game

Eagles will be angry
Pies are shot

I see a 15 point difference every quarter

Almost a perfect re-run of last weeks lead up. I suspect it will be a pretty ugly, close game in the end.

Eagles lose this one and the tank should be on for the rest of the year given the eagles have a irst rounder and they are clearly not up to it if they can't get over this Pies side at home.

Such a result would be short term pain but long term gain for Pies. They need a strong catalyst for change in the board and in the coaching ranks.

Eagles should win, but they must set themselves the simple task of winning every quarter. No brain fades or “switching off” three quarters of the way through the game.

In reality, the Eagles should hit back savagely, after last weeks “brewers droop” performance.

I'll take a win regardless of how the quarters break down.

This will be the 4th time in the opening 5 rounds that the Eagles were FTA in Queensland. I don't recall that ever happening before. Usually if you ain't in WA you are lucky to get them 7 times a season, especially since the Suns & Giants occupied a 2nd game each weekend in NSW/QLD.
