Could be a cracker if we play most of the game with anything like the intensity of the last 45 minutes last round. Playing again just 5 days after our last match is something we could have done without tho!

Really wouldn’t want to be without both Marshall and Ryder again.

Marshall has a 5 day break to get up from rupturing his plantar fascia.

This is going to be an absolute belter, both teams capable of a super high intensity and quality game of footy, can’t wait!
(I still have an ouchie but getting over it slowly :expressionless:)

We don't play Marvel well and Saints have knocked us off atleast twice since 2017, big wins too. They're a huge chance, very nervous.

They've always seemed to match up against us well.

But they also seem to be trying to copy us, and while that seem to help against other teams, it will probably lessen their advantage against us.

Tiges facing the possibility of 3 straight losses, when was the last time that happened?

Cons for tiges, the combo of saints and marvel has been a recent nemesis.

Pro: tiges looked back to good form h2 versus port.

Prediction: tiges to win in a close one, as it is a must win, and they usually rise when it matters.

2 teams that haven't quite settled into form yet.

Saints were hot coming home and stone cold last week for 3 quarters. So who turns up.

Tigers slowly starting to work the rust off. Hopefully they come out a bit harder after 2 losses.

Think it was 2017, we lost 4 in a row after starting the season 5-0.

2019 it happened. Rounds 11-13.

Won the next 12 after that though, all the way through to the GF. So I'm sure they wouldn't be worried if it happened.

Ahh yes, I forgot we lost 3 in a row in 2019 as well as 2017. Not massively worried itv we did lose this week although would prefer we started winning.

Last time we lost 3 in a row was mid 2019, embarrassing losses to North and Geelong, then a comfortable but not so embarrassing loss to Adelaide.

Tigers. They are not out of the flag race yet and really need a win.
The draw gets challenging, but I feel like if we can be at least square by round 10 at 5-5 we have shown we can attack the back half of seasons sucessfully. Personally, I reckon we’re more likely to beat Demons next week than Saints on Thursday.

The lack of a ruckman or beast key defender for saints will be our demise.
Tigers hungry after 2 losses, Saints probably satisfied after beating eagles. The emotional / mental motivation side of things these days is huge. We can tell the boys all week not to be complacent but not that simple. Has the making of a tigers feast. Love my saints and hopefully we are building someting great but tomorrow night is Tigers' to lose. Tigers by 43.

We just need to contain St Kilda's bursts...

Very true. When we get momentum its amazing. All teams of course look great with momentum, but idk we seem to have patches where we obliterate. Problem is, our bad is just as great. Saints 2021, one of the weirdest Ive seen. Arguments for both top 4 and bottom 4 contentions.

Not sure why people are tipping us.

But my worry is that the next 3 games are Melbourne, dogs, cats, all 50-50 games. Lose this and we could easily be 2-6.
Have you seen the Saints this year? They are capable of coming from 5 goals down against the Eagles, but also losing to Essendon by 12 goals.
