This will be Fremantles best chance for a win over us in years, with some key outs for us. In saying that I still think we win by a few goals and carry Hurn off the ground with plenty of smiles in his milestone match.

Think we'll respond, but I wouldn't be overly surprised if we get embarrassed handing Freo their first derby win in 10 encounters. Need to bring back that arrogance lads!

Lot’s of if’s, but’s and maybe’s.

Could go any way, but I do know that if the Eagles have pride, they will come out roaring. Freo need to take full points from their forward entries, ..... no spraying like a rampant tomcat.

Both teams have players with injury queries, if they play, will their “soreness” be a negative by the end of the match ?.

Freo to win by 7 points, Colyer to kick 3 goals .......

Eagles beat Port by 39
Port beat Carlton by 37
Carlton beat Fremantle by 45

Eagles beat Fremantle by 121
Or could be a draw

Easy math:

Adelaide beat Gelong by 12.
Fremantle beat Adelaide by 12.
Geelong beat West Coast by 97.
=>
Freo beat West Coast by 121.

Was going to say what a brillant coincedience it is to get to the same margin that way. But those Port margin were 37 and 28. So only Eagles by 110. But you would probably take that as well...

Have heard that a possible community Covid case in WA today. Hopefully McGowan doesn’t overreact if so

And confirmed 3 cases
Lockdown imminent

“Following three emergency meetings today, Premier Mark McGowan has announced that this morning a security guard in his 20s who works in hotel quarantine tested positive to COVID-19.
He had already had a vaccination. He and his housemates have been moved into hotel quarantine.
Mr McGowan said he may have been infectious in the community.
Case 1001 lives in Nollamara, and during his potentially infectious period he lived with seven housemates. Two have returned positive test results as well.
One of these cases is a visitor from Canberra.”

Second outbreak from Hotel Quarantine in a few weeks, this one has completed an incubation period beyond the HQ worker— would be foolish for McGowan to allow that many people so closely together if WA doesn’t have their contact tracing working effectively
