Freo supporters should be blaming their poor kicking for goal rather than the umpiring, like we did on Friday night they wasted too many chances.

But yet, on Friday you were still blaming the umpires.

Didn't hear the same outcry from the neutrals last week when Hooker took what was an obvious mark late in the last quarter... with a shot that would've seen us take the lead... no mark? OK. Was also a free kick in the same contest.

Final margin today was 7 points. Fremantle should've been less wasteful earlier in the game against an Essendon side in rebuild mode.

1 win against us in 21 seasons at Docklands (1-13). Ouch.

Freo lost the game in the first 5 - 10 minutes, 3 goals to zero start.

Yeah, Freo did plenty off their own back to completely screw the pooch in this game. The umpires were pretty shitty at times but I don't think it bears much in the final outcome. I saw a heap of decisions (possible htb's) not called that would have gone to the Dons.

Sucks but there it is. Enjoy the win Essendon peeps.

Umpires have screwed us twice in Sydney this year and even though it was good to be on the right side of them today it’s disgusting that they have so much influence over results

they screwed us fair 3/4 of this game too.

the non paid mark to lobb was just evening up the ******* dog s**t non calls against us previously

That was the second worst game we've played all year (behind the Brisbane game in heavy rain).

Horrible football from both teams. Marvel games against Fremantle are always like this.
I'll take the win, but Fremantle kicked themselves out of that.
