Port played s**t, but so did the cats who only won some momentum after the refs handed it to them time and time again until the cats realised the game was unloseable.
LOL. Port were allowed to try and break tackles all day. We should have won by 10+ goals. Not a good sign for us sadly.

Incredibly easy win, scoreboard and a bit of favourable umpiring flattered Port big time. Should have been 80+ points and thats with half our team out and the remaining players playing pretty poorly. Port is in a worse place now than they were when we completely broke their club in '07

What ******* insane logic is this?

So you can reach well over the mark, hold a player, then knock the ball out of his hands and it’s ok … if the arm was there defending?
Lol, right, "the umpires are cheating campaigners" is better logic?

Whats so difficult to understand? Bews was standing on the mark, hand out in front near the ball. Bews was not moving his arms. Port guy lifts the ball into Bews arm, ball falls out of his hands. That's clearly not a 50. Umpire thought so too.

Yeah you can reach over the mark - there's not some invisible barrier from the top of your toes up, that a player's body part can't reach over. I don't recall ever seeing a penalty for reaching over the mark, while feet are firmly planted on the mark.

He was moving his arm. He should have been pinged. It’s not even remotely a hard call to make. Stand over a player getting up, put your arm in and knock the ball out = 50m penalty.
