2022 Sir Doug Nicholls Round Indigenous Guernsey
Designed by Triple-Premiership player and Proud Eastern Arrernte Man, Darryl White, our 2022 Indigenous guernsey is a representation of both Darryl’s heritage, and the rich history of the Brisbane Lions, including the merging of the Brisbane Bears and Fitzroy Lions 25 years ago. It is also a representation of it being 20 years since our triumphant Premiership win in 2002. The design features lion and bear footprints meeting at the three home grounds: Turrbal and Yuggera, Yugambeh and Wurundjeri country (The Gabba, Carrara and Brunswick St Oval), along with the names of all Indigenous players and trainers who have represented the Club, including Ringo Hood, who was a trainer for Fitzroy before the merger and one of only a handful of Indigenous trainers in the AFL. The design also includes a nod to Darryl’s father who passed in 2002 and drove from Alice Springs to the MCG for the 2001 Grand Final to support his son. You can check out the design here.

Mitchell’s Hawks are a great test for Brisbane’s defensive transition. Plus playing in trying conditions like Tassie will make it interesting.

Just want another 4 quarter effort with the kids contributing.

Also, as horrific as that Essendon game was which I make no excuses for, we've faced a tough fixture this season.

Carlton, St.Kilda, Geelong, Sydney, Melbourne, Richmond, Brisbane from the first 10 rounds. They all sit inside the top 8.

Tassie games are generally a slogfest of errors and frustration.

Im shocked Hawthorn is paying $3.20 right now. Im actually tipping them to win.

Me too. Love my lions but Adams out is huge for us. It means Harris won’t be able to float in the backline and intercept/fist the ball coming in.
Also the conditions down in tassie are tough!
I thought the money would come in for hawthorn and be a lot more even.
