Geelong will unleash its fourth debutant for the 2022 season when athletic young gun Shannon Neale makes his debut against Adelaide at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday.

Neale was selected with the 33rd overall selection at the 2020 NAB AFL Draft out of South Fremantle in the WAFL, and joins Ollie Dempsey, Cooper Stephens and Mitch Knevitt as first time Cats this year.

“I’m pretty stoked,” the 19-year-old said on Friday.

Both teams will show up but Geelong just too good on their home ground. But as underdogs I expect Adelaide to give it their best.

With Walker and Rachele out I can’t see much prospect of the Crows kicking more than 8-10 goals let alone a winning score.

The Cats will jump us early, we’ll try hard and not get blown away but they’ll do it easy by 49 points I reckon.

Could be closer than expected. Crows do have a crack. Cats need to respect that. Ben keays my fav non cats player could have a big one!

I asked what the biggest winning margin for Geelong against Adelaide was at Kardinia. You then posted about a game against Melbourne in 2011.

Didnt you write “what’s Geelongs biggest winning margin At Kardinia Park. It’s under threat.”

Giants have a shot, I believe. They seemer freer, unshackled by the gloomy Cameron, whose dark shadow even had me, a nornally jolly chap, reaching for a sharp knife.

If Giants can attack and make the most of their scoring shots...let's see how it goes.

What a shitfest this will be.
Geelong will try and suffocate the young and plucky Crows by chipping the ball around the flanks all day long. Stewart will amass 25 disposals, Tuohy and co will have their way and Geelong bank another 4 points against mediocre opposition.
