Think the Dees will switch on for this one, always seem to step up for good competition and it's at the G.
Demons by 28 pts.

Dockers will want to come out and make a statement after two bad losses, if Melbourne aren't switched on then Dockers could catch them off guard and get a sneaky win but I don't see that happening.

a tough one for freo after two shockers in the wet

carn freo!

The last time I was truly pissed after a game was when Freo beat us in the wet in Cairns.

Maybe it can happen again?

Na, Dees by 36

I do like the way Freo is headed though, got the basis of a good team and gameplan, just need to add a few more pieces in the next couple of years.

Kind of annoyed Freo aren’t second on the ladder, but oh well.
If Melbourne win Freo could drop as low as seventh depending on other results.

Which means Melbourne still will have had a soft draw.

So clearly Melbourne should lose, so Freo could get as high as second, therefore making Melbourne’s draw much harder and being 10-1 more meritorious than being 11-0 against the identical teams.

BigFooty logic :drunk:

Melbourne keep winning but still haven't been overly impressive the last weeks.

So perhaps we can keep our losing margin to less then 150 or even less then 100 points.

Freo are a team of B Graders playing an A Grade system. The Freo game plan is built for finals and aims to minimise dangerous turnovers and seeks to score on the counterattack. So this will be a good test for the Demons. That said, the Demons are a 30 point better team than the next best side if they play well. Freo's best chance is to score from stoppages and kick straight (and hope Melbourne miss). Otherwise we will strangle them to death like every other opponent.

Hey Wosh
Just want to say how much you’re appreciated. You put in a ton of work each week.

Here’s some updated puppy pics. 😬

I really hope Freo can recapture their away form from a few weeks ago against Cats, that was a rippa win and had this neutral fan jumping up and down like a toddler at toysrus. But it may go the other way. Dees don't strike me as a team easy to find form against.

Langdon out means a big loss of run between the arcs. No Salem off half back compounds this. Could be a real arm wrestle today. Not one for the neutrals.

Expecting a repeat of the Saints game, except with lower scores on both sides.
I used that as a similar benchmark. MCG & solid opponent. Langdon got 39 disposals in that game.

Dockers might get two goals closer with Langdon missing, but he’s not a big enough out to make up that whole margin. Just means we need to keep the foot on the pedal for longer than we did that day.
