No was a genuine attempt at a smother
Was his right foot that got planted then twisted when he kicked with his left foot. Horrific
I have just watched replay, I don't disagree with genuine attempt to smother but he took out the players legs, that's dangerous and pretty sure it's a free.

Alex Davies is going to be one hell of a player
He is, but he shouldn't be playing yet. Seems his position is inside midfielder or bust at the moment, and he's not yet good enough to push their other inside mids out, or good enough to really impact the game elsewhere.

I'd like to see them give someone like Hollands a chance (which will likely happen now with their injuries anyway).
 
They sickening injury looked like the crows player went to smother but at the last minute changed his mind and went for his legs with a bump with the shoulder once he realized he wasn’t getting the ball. Dog act almost or maybe
