Would love to know who players like
McDonald
Ed Curnow
Williamson
Parks
Machbank
McGovern

Woudl replace if there was no injuries at all , I doubt 5 out of 6 would even be selected in the best side
Don't think anyone's claiming the first 4 on that list walk straight back in. A fit McDonald for Lewis Young maybe, although Young hasn't done a whole lot wrong to be fair.

Marchbank and McGovern in for Plowman and Durdin seem obvious enough.

Last night showed that Carlton have Richmonds measure going forward..the tigers with a full squad and a dream run from the umpires just scraped over the line in a wet miserable game against a severely depleted Carlton . looking forward to the next encounter, Hopefully richmond can hang onto the 8 and not drop to 9th

Well, this thread has its charms. And its effluent. However, much better than 70s rivalry when fans actually faced each other off and it was not short of bruises.

Much better these days online, and that Pies supporter stepping into the Blues Tiges banter is quite heroic.

Geez you’d want to have our measure going fwd, we’ve been collecting silverware while you’ve been collecting draft picks.

Boyd played a very good game last night and young also did pretty well
Im thinking there is no way eith would have done much better than Young & Boyd

Marchbank & McGovern are ghosts
they have both been at Carlton for 3+ years and hardly played for 1 reason or another , Not thinking this will be changing too much going foward
March - Unfortunate
McGov - Has stolen a AFL Career

i guarentee you if curnow throws the ball hits grimes in the back, ball drops onto the ground umpire pays a 50 meter penalty, smart from grimes ill give you that as he definitely knew what he was doing but the umpire should've recognised that.
You can't guarantee anything. The umpire asked him to give the ball back, he didn't

Easiest 50 this year

With a full squad we will make your mob look second rate
There are two Carltons aren't there?

There's the fictional entity, the indomitable "Carlton with a full squad", and then there's the real thing that shows up on weekends and is slipping rapidly down the ladder to its usual spot

So there's this.....
Anyone complaining about the free kicks costing Carlton the match are delusional. We were outplayed considerably and honestly the score board flattered us.
.....and this.....
Yup overall we accept that umpiring decisions & interpretations vary and fluctuate, its the nature of the game.Overall last night was an acceptable standard.
...but then this.....
Add the three umpires to that montage..they did a lot of bullying for your mob
Never change Blue baggers!

All teams have reactionary fans that will outcry over umpires. Lets not act like it’s unique to specific teams. You see a stupid free kick and remember it a lot more if it’s against your team. The umpires do make mistakes, you just don’t remember the mistakes that benefitted your team. I mean even Richmond fans complain every week as if there is a massive conspiracy at the AFL to punish them in every way, even though they’ve won the premiership 3 of the last 5 years. Just let the fans complain and move on, anyone arguing about it with them are no better.

No you wouldn't. Collingwood are without Grundy, Krueger, Madgen and McInnes. And others.

They beat Carlton when you had Cerra and others in.

In the real world, if both full teams played tomorrow you'd be a 50% chance at best.

Carlton are a very average side.

did you read the post? I said McDonald, Curnow, Williamson and Parks are depth.

Marchbank > Durdin
McGovern > Plowman

The others, as I said, are depth players who would only play to cover injuries.

theyd be lucky to be selected in our VFL side

another moron that can't read

Us dropping to ninth is your best chance of staying eighth.
