To be fair when you constantly allow the opposition to have 4 or 5v1 in their forward 50 and keep backing in your stupid press there are going to be questions asked. We simply refuse to defend and that’s on the coach.
The players are utter duds but our system is woeful. Unfortunately it needs a lot more than Rutten to be sacked

Honestly if you had Martin kicking inside 50 instead of Shiel, Hind, Caldwell and Stringer (Merrett is great kicking i50) you’d have won the game. His teammates burn him when he’s worked to an advantageous position. He had three inside 50’s 4 shots on goal and 9 score involvements. Shiel had 8 score involvements from his 10 inside 50’s.

The kid ran 15km and was second on the ground to Merrett. Must be shithouse doing all that running to be ignored.

Essendon are rebuilding. Half our list is 22 and under. Wins don't mean much atm. Its about development for our time. Part of that development is not getting the kids belted every week. And the other part is continuing the rebuild - picks.
