Protected zone would be fine if they just changed it so that if you're within the area you can't involve yourself in the play when the kicker plays on.

Especially given they often don't pay it and a player will get pinged for HTB when they play on and a bloke 2 metres away tackles him. Makes a mockery of the rule.
