Umpires really need to watch those high free kick remonstrations more. Coniglio on the ground had hands in his neck by Sidebottom AND Noble. While defenseless on the ground.

Not blaming the Pies, it literally happens 6 times a game, everytime a player gets taken high, but how can you pay a 50 for the throw on Ginnivan (and all the other throws and shoves that get paid 50) but ignore the guy on the ground getting his neck/face/head shoved which happens every time?

He got he's hand on it.. before the line.. you can't give that deliberate.

On a slow mo replay with 3 replays you can see that yep, but you sitting there for ages stroking your neckbeard doesn't mean in real time the ump can't give it deliberate.

Seriously mate how much do you want the game to be stopped? So they can review that for a finger tip?

And also, it doesn't matter, if you kick it towards the line deliberately and then rush it over again I imagine it'd be free kick 9/10 times.

10/10 times, considering he was the only one who touched it on both occasions.

Arguing otherwise is bewildering, considering it'd get paid every time if it was on the boundary line.

I'm starting to realise it's not the AFL with their 'rules changes' that are the problem, it's the supporters who argue the opposite of what the rules actually are that are the real problem.

Having a sook because your own player didn't know the rules = "Better blame the umps".

He didn't rush it over.. you can argue that he tried to stop the pill from going over.. benefit of the doubt goes with Moore.
