It's. The. Rule.

End of discussion.

I don't think you understand. It's only a free kick if the player is deemed to have deliberately rushed a behind. Given both players were neck a neck, at full speed with a slippery ball on the ground, it's very debatable that Moore deliberately soccered the ball through.

You act as if the ball being outside 9 is the only parameter for the rule which is completely incorrect.

Umpires really need to watch those high free kick remonstrations more. Coniglio on the ground had hands in his neck by Sidebottom AND Noble. While defenseless on the ground.

Not blaming the Pies, it literally happens 6 times a game, everytime a player gets taken high, but how can you pay a 50 for the throw on Ginnivan (and all the other throws and shoves that get paid 50) but ignore the guy on the ground getting his neck/face/head shoved which happens every time?
If they were going to pay those ones, Ginnivan would get alot more frees lol

That happened to Ginnivan about 8 times throughout the game mate.

Whats Ginnivan done to actually warrant being knocked out ? He isnt dirty by any means on the field
Because he's annoying apparently 🙄

None of these chickenshits can simply lay a hard tackle or put a good fair bump on him, they've gotta cheap shot him while he's on the ground or snipe him off the ball.

Keep defending him
Haven't really seen much of this Ginnivan story, but what I saw today was Ginnivan getting roughed up at every opportunity without much reason that I could see. Was at a pub with no sound so not sure if the commentators said anything.

Umps lifted huge in the last 5 mins to get GWS over the line. Disgraceful. No wonder the fans were booing so loud.

All those misses nearly cost us in the end. Checkers, Cox, Elliot, Ginny and Henry are normally very reliable shots and they all missed some easy ones.

I'm surprised how well we did against their midfield without De Goey and with Pendles and Sidey on their last legs.

Bowling shoe ugly game. We'd have been f'd without Pendles, Cameron, Maynard and Hoss today.

Common bloody sense has to apply. He did not deliberately soccer the pill. It was at his feet and he was running at top pace and he tripped on it more than kicked it. That rule was brought in to prevent players under no pressure handballing or kicking the ball through in order to get a reset and kick in.

None of the above were applicable in Moore's situation.

Looking at it another way, if a player wildly kicked the ball to a boundary with nobody in the vicinity, but the player then chased down their own ball and got to it at the boundary but their momentum carried it over, would that player then get called for deliberate out of bounds? No.

You’re in every Collingwood matchday thread bagging out Collingwood.

By all means, provide constructive criticism, but all you seem to do is bag out the club without any valid reason.

What was it today that annoyed you to believe Collingwood deserved to lose?

Ok- should've won by 10 goals, bad kicking is bad football.

If that's not constructive it's certainly true.

There ya go.
