it was 22 frees each and what about the free kicks not paid to Adelaide.

Is that a serious comment? Ginnivan himself missed out on 4 blatant frees

Then you were gifted multiple bullshit goals, like when Taylor Walker was holding the ball and won a free... for holding the ball... and someone else got a 50 metre penalty for being touched as he marked the ball... truly amazing home-state umpiring.

It’s hard to respect Carlton and Essendon as genuine respectable rivals when they are so disrespectful and disingenuous about Collingwood’s and performances.

Honestly, how amazing is McKay, Walsh and Weitering?

But Carlton and Essendon get up and about even when they just make finals which is run of the mill for 14 other sides.

Shows you the state of BF and it’s posters when there’s about x3 time the amount of content on Ginnivan than there is about Daicos.

How sad some people are when they constantly fixate on the negatives.

40 possessions and 3 goals is an unbelievable game by the first year player. What a bloody ceiling he has!

Ash Johnson - great composure to go back and slot his second goal from a set shot on debut. Not an easy debut for a KPF in that weather.

Josh Carmichael - needs to build a tank, but what a bull this kid already is. Love the confidence he has growing in himself at the top level. Great reward for a goal in his second game. 24 possessions, 8 tackles and a goal. Take that.

Scott Pendlebury - 29 possessions, 12 tackles, 2 goal assists to Nicky D and great captain’s goal. What a way to play your 350th. At this rate, should get to 400.

Only 1 real howler IMO that stood out, which was the free against Ginnivan for holding the ball when his hands were obviously free and Walker holding it.
Except you and the commentators misunderstand the rule. Once you dive on it, it's up to you to get it out. You will see every week the ball be possessed by another player or else shared with another player than the one who dived on it. It doesn't matter, you are responsible for getting it out. This is why players will actively hold it in to get a free kick. It's also why you can tell who is the low iq players by whether they are trying to do anything about it or they just show the umpire their free hands like that has anything to do with it.

It's a crap rule but don't misrepresent it.

It's just like when David King was whinging about a 50 paid against the kangas because he thought it was for protected zone coming off the bench when it was for another less well known rule blocking a running player getting the ball back. People who don't know the rules or just listen to moron commentators need to just pipe down on the issue

I agree it's unfair to single out Ginnivan but he brings that on himself by playing up to it so much. He could end the spotlight if he wanted. He either doesn't care or he feels its worth putting up with the stick or both and good on him.

But make no mistake this isn't a crusade against Ginnivan, it's against the intentional cheating going against the spirit of the laws that is the issue and even Collingwood fans should hate it. I get why they dont but they should. Imagine what would happen if Ginnivans antics worked. It'd change the game for the worse in a way that we'd get a headache the size of which world football has been dealing with for the past couple of decades with simulating for frees.

If Collingwood fans were smarter they'd recognise but I appreciate the short term gains of possibly winning games trumps this. If he played for any other club Pies fans would be in the chorus. For example, I detest that James Rowe of Adelaide does the same thing.

Not much luck at corrupt umpires gifting Adelaide 3/4 goals and giving us nothing.

Tex Walker got a holding the ball free when HE WAS HOLDING THE BALL. You literally can't script this s**t.
Lol, nothing sounds more like weak bitching than complaining about free kicks in a game that was umpired evenly

Lol - what weak s**t.

Ginnivan needs to know that dropping his shoulder to stage for free kicks isn't going to work anymore.

He's absolutely exceptional. Should have been pick one.

Were you one of the bogans in the crowd booing?
No. But he's a borderline cheat for the way he stages for frees, and he's an absolute arrogant flig, so it's understandable why people would boo him.
