Are there two more disappointing teams this year than these two? Not trying to be cheeky; genuine assessment. Both should have done a lot better.

Anyway, the Dogs have won 4 of the last 5 meetings with the Giants and I fancy that trend continues.

Nope. Port and Essendon pretty shocking too, but difficult to argue with that statement - and in a year where WC and North have looked historically bad that's saying something.

Suspect we get over the top in a fairly high scoring game as neither team fancies defending much.

Keath dropped again. Bevo even less interested in defence for this game?

Tbf Keath has been pretty poor this year. However, the fact that it's Gardner coming in for him doesn't fill many with confidence either.

Selection is a bit of a lottery, and has been for a while now. Need a bit of order instilled among the current chaos at Whitten Oval.

With the team the giants are putting out it shouldn't matter - if the dogs lose on Saturday they have no business being anywhere near finals anyway.

One would think Dogs back agin wall will win this. It would be good for the battle for 8 that will unfold afterwards. Don't we all want Saints and Dogs to win? Even if one is a Giants supporter?
It's a sacrifice worth making.

Looking forward to a Giants win, although having to play the Dogs in finals wouldn't be the worst thing.
