We have learned from last season and the only reason we signed Tim O'Brien was for this exact game so he can't have another career day in Tassie against us

We wont change our draft position win or lose, so hopefully Sam has them wanting to finish on a high. But we have so many players missing the Dogs would have to lose it, rather than us win it.
Adelaide could jump us the night before

That actually depends on Bombers and Crows, particularly if Dogs get hold us, as well they could.

For the first time in a long time I am desperate for a Hawthorn win. Be useful for once.

Make Carlton earn their spot in the finals

Be down by 10 goals at halftime (when Carlton leave their change rooms) so they have to beat the pies to make it

A big loss can improve our draft pick by 1 or 2 spots

Adelaide wont beat Port, and Richmond will smash the Bombers. If the Bombers actually win that game the players should sack themselves.
Upsets happen all the time.

Bulldogs should win it. The fixturing worked out a treat with this game starting a couple of hours before the Carlton game.

Hopefully the Doggies are well ahead when the other game starts so that we get the theatre of Carlton having to win to secure a spot.

Port are no certainties against the crows. The crows usually lift for those games.

Had this been anywhere other than Tassie, I'd be inclined to agree with the blowout prediction.
But at our home away from home in Launy, anything can happen.
Doggies didn't exactly set the world alight against the Giants last week either.
Their best will be too good for ours, for sure, but can they find it?

Hawthorn with another player on the shelf and, a lot of rumblings about bringing in blokes for their last game. The Bulldogs will essentially be playing Box Hill topped up with some AFL blokes. They should win in a canter.

Hawthorn haven't lost in the final round of the season since 2009.

The Bulldogs haven't beaten Hawthorn in Launceston since 2008.

The Bulldogs haven't beaten Hawthorn with a spot in the finals on the line, or heading into finals, since 1997.

The Dogs will find a way to blow it.

I hope if you do, that Carlton then go on to get the win, so in the end it wouldn't have made a difference.
It's a tough way to miss out otherwise.
