They really dont. The reason we notice them is because they are unexpected.

Collingwood beating Melbourne maybe, but the Dogs also beat Melbourne because they just arent as good this year.

The Roos beat Richmond, but that was 5 weeks ago.

Bulldogs should win it. The fixturing worked out a treat with this game starting a couple of hours before the Carlton game.

Hopefully the Doggies are well ahead when the other game starts so that we get the theatre of Carlton having to win to secure a spot.

Port are no certainties against the crows. The crows usually lift for those games.

Bulldogs played for a top 4 spot 3 times last year and blew each one.

Had this been anywhere other than Tassie, I'd be inclined to agree with the blowout prediction.
But at our home away from home in Launy, anything can happen.
Doggies didn't exactly set the world alight against the Giants last week either.
Their best will be too good for ours, for sure, but can they find it?
