I usually like to post a few positives about the Pies after each game, regardless of result, but there really was nothing positive to point out about Collingwood. Just a terrible night for the Magpies, and never even got going. Tough season ahead as the youngsters fatigue. Martin in last week, Bont in this week, and Fyfe in next week - it ain’t gonna be pretty again.

Kicking efficiency the most worthless stat to measure how good a kick someone is without context. You only need to kick it to the advantage of the receiver for it to count as effective even if the ball eventually ends up in the hands of the opposition at the end of it all.

He's going backwards as a player since he got drafted, because his disposals per game per year increasing from 17 to 21 to 23 to 33 since he got drafted somehow is irrelevant to how good he is as a midfielder but the fact that he's averaging 0.4 one percenters a game compared to 0.8 earlier in his career is? Really?
