The thing was entirely displaced not just a light fracture. All the best to him but 6-8 weeks would need to include time for the fracture to heal entirely, then commence strengthening work to get it to the point of enough strength work to play. I don’t see 6-10 weeks covering a break of that magnitude. But it’s all estimates at this point and all the best to him
Mate, I was literally discussing this with a mate who’s a physio that specialises in sports injury rehab last night. It’s a 6-10 week injury. Happy to take his word for it over an internet rando thx.

Oli Henry has talent to be a very good third forward. I don't see him having the attributes for much else and that's the issue really - there's a limited ceiling really.

Simply wondering about the Pies fans feelings about Henry as opposed to Krueger. Or Howe. Or Bobby Hill. Or McStay. Or Taylor Adams. Or Hoskin-Elliot. Somewhat childish.
None of those players were coming out of their first contract and regarded as being in the top echelon of their draft class. None were demanding to be traded to the reigning premiers who were offering unders for them. Whilst I agree that some of the continued spite towards Ollie is getting cringeworthy, it wasn’t a normal trade scenario and pies fans have every right to feel aggrieved, as do GWS fans over Bruhn.

So no issue with the Pies picking up wanted players from other clubs but just different when it comes to Henry. OK, probs no point discussing any further.

The problem that Henry has is that's he's seen as a kind of man baby that had to go home so that could get tucked in at night with his favourite blanket.

I have had women tell me it is worse than birthing pain.
I had a kidney stone dislodge into my urinal tract a few years ago and the pain internally is immense, feels multiple organs inside you are being yanked around. You also feel constipated even with an empty stomach. I got rushed to emergency and was injected with the same pain killers they give to vehicle crash victims or other forms of emergency level medical conditions... it was the only way to stop the dying feeling.

Then my mom told me she also had a similar episode but fortunately she didn't have a large stone like mine that made its way down her urinal tract.

Lesson learnt for me was drink plenty of liquid which I usually did but during COVID working from home I got lazy. And also get scans and try to upfront the removal of risky stones... saves you the emergency run.

though i have also had patients (who had the big stone needing the stent) describing the pain of the stents as very significant - which makes sense as instead of a 3 - 7 mm "stone" you have a tube going up and down the whole ureter

Way to completely ignore the actual issues. You’re right, there’s no point in discussing this if you’re just going to put your hands on your ears and yell “LALALALALA IM NOT LISTENING”

I get it but the ridiculous extent of the hatred over a 20 year old wanting to move back home and play and live locally is absurd and trashy.

It really does feed into the stereotypes about collingwood fans.

Geelong literally cheered and clapped Garry ablett jnr when he returned to skilled stadium.

Errr he did address the issue, he pointed out your player did the exact same thing and walked out on the club only after a few seasons to go to collingwood.

Your reply was it’s ok because Krueger was a lower pick… ok so which is it?? Are you upset because of how he left or are you upset that a first round draft pick left?? If it’s because his a first round pick then just say so, don’t go on a hypocritical rant about how he left because the exact same thing can be said for Krueger and others who came to collingwood.

Err... Krueger and his management didn't delay requesting a trade deliberately so that Collingwood could get him for unders.
Krueger was NOT a first round pick who had shown he was better than the pick he was drafted at, but who was then traded for a second.... That was Oliver.

Geelong and Ollie want to play win-loss trade games rather than ensuring fair value; then you can expect there to be a reaction.
If you can't see that there are no relevant equivalents in the two trades then you are not the sharpest tool in the shed.

You just carried on a big rant about the administration behind the scenes getting a good deal.. which has nothing to do with carrying on about Ollie Henry. So what is it?? Are you angry about geelongs deal or are you angry about Henry wanting out?? If it’s Henry wanting out then incredibly hypocritical. Wtf are you on about a delay? He requested it as soon as trade period opened which is common. I am sure collingwood was not stupid and could work out why he wouldn’t sign a contract all year as well mate.

Also bizzare you think you got screwed when you got pick 21 + a brownlow medalist A grade mid in return.. very odd
