Surprised he stuck around, assuming there was any external interest in him. Would’ve thought he’d be first to jump from a sinking ship, ahead of Gunston, Mitchell, and O’Meara.

Was a pretty fun game to watch at times. Very frustrating but excited with some of our passages of play.

Will be a long season for us but lots of green shoots everywhere. Sucks to lose to the scum but onward to next week.

Haha, very true - wish it were more indicative of a players true position rather than just the 7th best midfielder.

You blokes will be alright too, just cut pretty deep into the senior list. Plus, we don’t know how good essendon are. Early days.

Couple of under the radar bombers
-zerk was excellent after a couple of early turnovers. Kid has gone to the fletcher school of defending. Looks awkward and outsized but gets the job done

-durham is a workhorse. Does not stop running, chasing, presenting, and does a lot of hard graft
