I like both of these sides

I want the suns to make the 8 this year and no better way than to beat a peer

Suns are hard to beat at home...But the Dogs will win in the NT by 20 points.

Not really. They're 2-3 (one of those wins v North Melbourne) with an average losing margin of 30 points.

This would almost have to be the biggest game of their season. They need to make a statement.

Suns played only 4 games at home so far. 2W (Cats, North), 2L (Swans, Demons).

Finding this one a nightmare to tip. JJ is a big loss for the Dogs but they’re humming along nicely with 5 wins on the bounce. I’ll stick with them but won’t be at all surprised if it goes the other way.

Have the Dogs played in the NT before? I think the warm conditions may suit the Suns...

Danger game for us. We're due for a loss soon. Just hope it isn't against the Suns in Darwin. No Touk definitely helps.

Dogs wouldn't want to drop this one with Geelong to follow.

Everyone saying it's the Blues season on the line this week, Suns lose again and Dew's gonsky.

you're a trolling flog

Again, this illustrates my point.
You simply can't have a rational football discussion without resorting to this kind of garbage. Shows your intellect and also your ineptitude.

I personally been a big fan of the Dogs for years.
Go check my history but what I'm seeing this season suggests nothing has changed from previous seasons and that's a shame. I thought they would have won another premiership within 5 years of winning their last one.

Supposed to hit 32 degrees this afternoon before cooling down a little bit to 26ish degrees around the time of the bounce but the humidity is going to rise as a result. 26 degrees, humid and slippery conditions at night is basically a typical night of footy on the Gold Coast so I tend to agree that it may suit us. Here's hoping!

Suns by 10 points.

Main difference this year is the defence tbh. Not leaking like sieve every time a team wins a centre clearance/turnover

We've tried to prepare a bit for it with the old classics (room temperature water only, dish soap on the ball at training).
In the end it may come down to Touk Miller missing and our second mid rotation being a bit ahead of your second rotation kids.

VFL commentator just confirmed the conditions are currently slippery and you'd imagine it's going to be more so tonight. Currently 31 degrees there as well.

With today's results dogs can be in top 4 with a win here, lot to play for
Assuming GWS go on from here, the Suns have the opportunity to enter the top 8 (or at least be tied with a top 8 team). Plenty to play for, indeed.
