Huge for both clubs (pardon the cliche but it’s warranted). Put a line through Fremantle for finals if they lose and put a question mark over Longmuir. If WC win it’s 2-1 and looking reasonable for Simpson with a rebounding list.

Don’t rate Fremantle, Eagles by 9.

Yeah think we go down in this one.
West coast GF .
Reckon the eagle bois would have had it circled on the calendar the minute the fixtures came out .

All their old veterans have nothing else to play for these days except derby bragging rights (and a very good pay check as well)so watch them wind back the clock on this one and give 💯.

Too many structural issues down at freo

West Coast's biggest rival, they'll lift... and then come down hard against the Demons next week

What crap. West Coasts biggest rivals are Essendon and Hawthorn and the truth is we have primarily been on the receiving end of the stick from both of them.

Freo supporters talking their side down only to be able to gloat afterwards. West Coast won one quarter out of 4 on the weekend against a heavily depleted GWS and we likely won't be receiving any reinforcements in our weakest area which is inside ball.

West Coasts only real chance is if we can come close to holding up fremantle through the midfield and score heavily on defensive transition and through forward efficiency.

Fremantles midfield is likely way too strong for our defence to have time to get set and have midfielders back in place so barring a defensive masterpiece the dockers should actually be able to easily score more than 70 points this weekend which is likely all it will take to win.

I'm predicting west coast to lose contested ball by 20, ground ball by 10, tackles by 10, inside 50's by 20 and to lose by 6 goals.

7 actual Grand Finals in the last 32 years, one every 4-5 years on average. But no, playing the Premiershipless Freo is our Grand Final :tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:

This game is a lot deeper than the local derby.

Freo should be much better than they've shown so far, losing a couple of players doesn't account for the losses.

Surely Freo come out with fire in their purple belly's? And surely the Eagles are expecting and planning for it! Just have to match their intensity and stick with them until the game breaks open. Should be able to out score them with the way they play
