we certainly put the foot down when needed tonight. Definitely slowed up at the end but Iā€™m sure weā€™re just fine taking the 15 goal victory. Clarko went the all out flood in the third hence we only scored 3 goals that quarter. North couldnā€™t keep that up though but it stemmed the bleeding for a bit.
Good to see us share the goals around too.

What was May sooking and bitching about right after the siren? He'd be an insufferable flog of a teammate.

Seemed he was disappointed that they allowed the last few goals to go through, and as a result lost the triple figure margin.
Thats the type of attitude you want in a winning team.

After a not so good game last week, May was better this week. A couple of moments of indecision, but took some great marks.
Indecision is deadly for defenders.

People keep talking about May being poor last week, Lever was the one that was beyond s**t. At least 4 goals came from Lever mistakes that somehow got attributed to May.

Agreed.

Itā€™s all relative.

Melbourne play home games at a big city stadium with a capacity of 100k. Geelong play in a small country stadium with a ~20k capacity. So of course it will look a bit bare at the G.
And all our supporters sit on the camera side of the ground.

What a sad fall from grace.

38 goals and a Rising Star in his first season, then even had 21 in his first 12 games in season 2 before that gambling suspension.

He couldā€™ve been in a much better place in his AFL career right now if heā€™d made a few smarter decisions earlier on.
Yep. And his lockdown crap, sadly heā€™s a wasted talent
