Suns played well and kicked well. We didn't kick well in front of goal and inside 50. After the last 2 months, it's certainly a palatable loss. We were bound to lose at some point so better make it interstate. Onto Carlton next week.

a good win and one they needed to win for the Suns. They need to make Carrara a fortress and try to pluck the odd game away from home.

Essendon was the first top 8 side to play there. We’ll really see how potent they are at home when they play the Pies, Port, Dees and Lions later in the year.

Ned Moyle, incisive and sharp in the ruck.
Watch out, keep your distance, or you might lose something!

What a game. Bombers were doing well in q4, looked dangerous, and Suns didn't wilt. In fact, they held their effirt, structure and attacking intent, and kept scoring.

Two really good teams, enjoyed it very much.

Gotta say Moyle looks like he's a couple pre seasons away from being something, only 22 wowzers.

He was pretty good today, I don't think Tim English looked that good at 22.

There has been no release.

Nobody is beating Gold Goast at home in 2024. Incredible effort for Essendon to even get close.

Bombers still firmly locked into 2nd on the ladder and primed to dominate September on their home deck.
So was it a “incredible effort “ when the Crows only went down by 6 points against them on their home deck R1?
