Well we got thrashed by Bulldogs. Lost to Port and GWS. Both of whom had a 1-2 quarter period of the game where they absolutely dominated (put like 7 goal uninterrupted stretches on us). Beat NM, St Kilda, Hawthorn and Richmond. In theory Adelaide could plug into that second group of teams but we certainly play our best football on the road this season.

Not this late in the year but it would be an interesting symmetry in that the Crows rd2 loss to a Cats outfit not expected to make the 8 was really the first sign something wasn't going to plan for Nicks.

It's not just this year too. We've been better at the mcg basically since we changed our game style in 2022.

We were excellent through 2022 and early 2023 in Geelong. We've struggled since our midfield has gone downhill. Basically since Guthrie has been missing.

We're 6-4 in our last 10 at the MCG mainly against competitive sides.

5-5 in our last 10 in Geelong. And that includes wins against North and Richmond who were terrible when we played them.

Geelong at home vs a substandard Crows outfit where I can't see Adelaide having the transition forward from their mids to build a big enough score. I could easily see Geelong winning by over 100 if Adelaide don't rock up. From a Fremantle perspective that would be the worst outcome.
