We have finally got our intended forward line of Tex, Tilthorpe, Fog, Rachele and Rankine playing together as well as our two key backmen. Taken a season to put our best team on the field. Nicks selections have been baffling at times.

The race for the flag is wide open. Dogs were the hot team and now come back to earth with a thud like several other contenders. A very intriguing and fascinating finals series this season promises to be.

Every team will shit themselves like we just have at some point, and your team will be left standing at the end. Despite now having a poorer list talent-wise than most in the top eight, Geelong are possibly the only properly run and coached club so will take it out.

It’s depressing for the rest of us, but until some of the other clubs start instituting some standards it’ll continue to be a problem because of this gap in competence in coaching and administration.
