Obviously not.

And I already answered that question. You have to put in that position where your team puts you behind the ball and looks for you constantly. You also have to have your team winning the ball to get it out to you. And you have to be paying against a team that struggled to put the required pressure on that player.

That is the point. Collingwood as a team allows him to play like that, he's playing well, but it's on the back of his teams hard work, game plan and positioning that puts him in that position. So that's why I'm not giving him massive credit. And that's not saying he didn't at very well, it's saying his teammates deserve as much of the credit for his game.

And as I also said, other players are doing it. Both Reid and Merret had 20 touches at the half in the last 2 weeks.

Was actually a very entertaining game and considering where both teams are placed Richmond put up a good performance
The young players all showed improvement Sonsie , Ross , Hotton , Faull , Sims , Green , Trainor
Kids still have alot to learn and get cohesion but over all a good performance for a team in year 1 of a rebuild

Daicos is a GUN and easily top 5 best players and the boy can football
He is the player that should be commanding the $2.2 mil x 11 year contract

We'll agree to disagree. Would be a fascinating thing to see what type of player clubs would prioritise if they had the two there ready to be picked. My guess would be it would be a close to 60/40 split with teams with strong forward lines leaning toward Daicos and those with stronger backlines leaning towards Heeney.

100% of clubs are taking Daicos mate. Hes 22 and the best player in the comp.

We didn’t get him for free, also we were terrible that year so it’s a moot point regardless.

You got him for a lot cheaper, as all high F/S picks do. "For free" is hyperbole, but not far from the truth. You being terrible doesn't change that though. The F/S means you didn't have to spend pick 1 on him. I'm not debating that he's not a fantastic player, I'm not one that criticizes his game, I'm just saying it's not debatable that the F/S system is broken, and I imagine it's the reason for some people as to why they nitpick his game.

Man I really need to be clearer with my hyperbole. I was actually going to type pick 1-5 but didn't for some reason. And was that not the narrative? I certainly remember talk about him going at 1 if it wasn't for F/S. It's besides the point anyway, literally all high F/S draft picks are way too easy to get under the current (and previous) system. Hopefully they continue to make it more costly and fair
